Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed to Sky Sports that he will take a break from football after leaving the club, but not permanently.

Ahead of City’s home game against Wolves, Guardiola was interviewed by คาสิโนออนไลน์ UFABET ฝากถอนรวดเร็ว เริ่มต้นเล่นง่าย in which he said he would stop after his time with the Citizens, with some suggesting he could retire. The Spanish manager signed a

new contract in November last year that will keep him at City until June 2027.

However, Guardiola himself spoke to Sky Sports , saying : “I didn’t say I’m leaving now or at the end of the season. If the club sacks me, that’s a different story!”

“I just said when the time comes for me to leave here, whether in one, two, three, four or five years, I will definitely take a break. I’m not quitting management, but I will take a break.” He also added:

“Do you know what a two-year contract is as a football manager? It’s a long time. So I’m just going to take a break after I finish here,”

Micah Richards, the former Manchester City defender, also joked to Guardiola, suggesting he should stay for another 10 years, to which the 54-year-old laughed and replied: “No way.”

Guardiola himself took a full year off after leaving Barcelona before returning to manage Bayern Munich in 2013.
