Mikel Arteta has revealed the reason he plays music to his Arsenal players during training is to help boost their energy. Arsenal trained

in front of the media on Tuesday and played a mix of samba music including Sergio Mendes’ famous ‘Mas Que Nada’, which was

featured in a 1998 Nike advert which saw the Brazilian legends playing football at an airport.

Asked about the music during training, Arteta said: สมัครสมาชิก UFABET วันนี้ รับเครดิตฟรีทุกวัน “It’s something we’ve done for a few years now and it’s part of the training. “

We use music as an element of training, to give us an energy boost and to change some of the focus that we want to have in training. I think the players enjoy it.

But the music pumping was a first in an open training session as the players assembled to the baseball anthem Take Me Out To The Ball Game but then turned it up for the warm-up with a couple of Brazilian songs, including Mas Que Nada.

Arteta said: “Music is another element of our training sessions to be the energy to change some purposes that we want in the training session and I think players enjoyed it. Music is very much part of our culture.

“It depends on the day. Sometimes the players choose the songs. The first song, the first two songs, the last song – it’s the same in the dressing room.”

Arteta’s side are fifth in the Champions League and victory at Dinamo Zagreb tonight will virtually secure a place in the last 16.
